This photo was taken at Merville, France, on 15-Feb-1945, after Lt Balthazor completed his combat tour. At that time, he was assigned to the 5th Strategic Air Depot, 8th Air Force Service Command, as a B-17 Assistant Flight Test Officer and Operations Officer
