Blasted Event - B-24 of the 837th Squadron
Aircraft #41-29487 was part of initial deployment
It appears this aircraft was - quite soon transferred to the 445th. Probably was sent for modifications (such as cockpit armour plating) to a depot and never returned to Lavenham
Another aircraft, 42-95334 was assigned as a replacement and was also painted as 'Blasted Event'. A photo of this aircraft has also been added to our web site
